(just a note to anyone who happens to read this: it's obviously very old. And rather outdated. Keep that in mind.)
CRAP CRAP CRAP IT'S THE LAST DAY OF SEPTEMBER. STUPID PROCRASTINATION.
Ahem.
And I'm sorry Barrow, I lied. I am interviewing Katria. Since I don't have an official villain yet, and the BP is made for villains, and Katria is an anti-hero, I figured she was my best shot.
Barrow: How could you.
Me: I am sorry.
Here is Katria. My violent, knife-obsessed, unfeeling assassin.
Katria: What a wonderful introduction.
Me: *shrugs* Sorry. Anyway, the first question. What is your motive?
For what?
Um…actually I don't know. For why you join the quest? For why you…I don't know, do what you do?
I didn't want to spend the rest of my life waiting for someone to hire me. I needed more purpose. I was tired of hiding.
Question two: What do you want, and what are you prepared to do to get it?
I want to survive, and I'll kill anyone I have to to stay alive.
Would you kill one of your friends?
*narrows eyes* Is that one of the questions?
*looks at list* Ah, no. Shall we move on?
…
Alright then. How do you deal with conflict?
Violence when necessary, words when necessary. Usually both.
And you're equally vicious with both.
You really hate me don't you.
No! I don't- it's just- um, question four: describe your current place of residence.
In a small flat, in the slums of a city you haven't named yet. It's narrow and dirty and no one in their right mind would live there. It's the only place I could find. And luckily, the Blues can't find me.
And how do you like it? What is your opinion?
I've had worse. Everyone's secretive there, which is useful for my work.
That's good to know. Question five: If you were writing this story, how would it end?
I would know what to do with my life. I wouldn't have to worry about surviving and escaping the Blues.
Question six: what habits, speech patterns, etc. are unique to you?
I'm the only one in the group with my accent. You really should name my country though; it's difficult not knowing exactly where I live.
I should.
Also, I can mimic any accent or speech pattern after hearing it. And when there's nothing going on, I sharpen or count my knives, make sure they're all there.
(See? I told you. Knife-obsessed.)
I can hear you.
Question seven! Oh, you aren't going to like this one…How do you show love? What do you like to do with/for people you love?
Love is a distraction. No good comes from it, and you always get hurt in the end.
*holds back 'unfeeling' comment* Question eight: do you have any pets?
Keeping animals for fun? What's the point? A horse is hard enough work, and horses are actually useful.
Question nine: Where would you go to relax or think?
I always have time to think. The others leave me alone.
Last question love. What is your weapon of choice(words, eyes/looks, and fists count)?
*stiffens at the word 'love'* Knives. Definitely. As well as my bow.
Your insults and glares can also be quite destructive.
I guess I'm good at anything but brute force.
Yup!
So we're done now?
Yes, you can go and be anti-social again.

I like how you made it like a real interview. Alot more interesting then mine. (:
ReplyDeleteThanks! I love talking to my charries. And I haven't read yours but it can't possibly be too boring. :)
DeleteYep, I totally get the knife-obsessed thing. Gosh, Krissy, you were BRAVE to interview this girl. She sounds seriously nefarious, but it was kind of funny to read. "You can go be anti-social again". lol ;)
ReplyDeleteSeriously, half my world-building board is knives that she likes…and 'nefarious' is the perfect word to describe her. The chick is 16 and already a notorious assassin. She's awesome but you must be careful or she will KILL YOU IN YOUR SLEEP. The most terrifying character in her group.
DeleteThanks for reading!
Awesome!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I had a lot of fun with it. :)
DeleteShe sounds awesome! I get the idea that I would love this knife obsessed anti-social anti-hero if I were to read your book. Also, i totally get the whole leaving it to the end of the month thing. Every month I promise myself I'm going to do better. And every month I just...don't. I did better this time, but not much.
ReplyDeleteI think Katria is one of those characters that you wouldn't like in real life, but in a book she's awesome. XD
DeleteProcrastinators unite! … tomorrow.
Oh my gosh, I love her already! I think she'd get along well with my MC, Sachi :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Aimee! I don't think Katria really 'gets along' with anybody…at best she doesn't threaten to kill them on a daily basis. :P
DeleteI agree with Imogen! She does sound awesome! One of my main characters also uses knives a lot, but he isn't nearly so obsessed with them! I think he would understand Katria, even if I'm not sure they would get along for too long without trying to kill each other eventually...
ReplyDeleteI think Ron Weasley described her quite nicely…
Delete"You're a little scary sometimes, you know that? Brilliant... but scary."
Yeah, I think she tries to kill everyone at one time or another.
Thanks for reading!
Oh she does, does she? She better not succeed. I like those charries.
DeleteOh, I love how you did a real interview! So awesome. Honestly you had me at knife loving, I love a knife loving anti-hero. =)
